Internet Safety

The internet has changed all of our lives, particularly our children’s. For parents and carers this opens up a whole new world of things to be aware of. For many of us, this can all be a bit too much.

You might be struggling to keep up with the things your child is doing online, you might wonder whether what they are doing is safe, and you might also be thinking how can I be as good a parent online as I am offline?

This part of our website aims to make online parenting simple and give you practical tips and guidance.

We provide regular updates on current issues related to online safety to parents.  We subscribe to National Online Safety who provide up-to-date information and training for both staff and pupils.  In the letter below there are details of how to subscribe as a parent so that you can access that training and support.

Please click the 'Need help or advice' tab if you need support  or contact Mrs Liz Webber as Online Safety Leader at Coxheath. We have placed some useful weblinks on this section of the website and some factsheets below.
