Please find information page relating to our proposed expansion. We are excited that about the potential to increase the number of children who can attend Coxheath Primary school. This will provide an opportunity for children who live in the local area to attend their local school. Please do not hesitate to contact the school if you have any questions.

We would like to invite you to attend a Community Information Event to review plans for the proposed expansion of Coxheath Primary School. This public event will take place at Coxheath Primary School on Tuesday 1st October, between 15:30 and 18:30hrs, and is your chance to find out more information on regarding the school’s exciting expansion plans before a planning application is submitted to Kent County Council (KCC). KCC are proposing to expand the school to help provide more places for local children based on an identified need within the area. Following development of a scheme over the past months, the project team has prepared a detailed planning application to KCC, which will be available to view in the coming weeks. This public event is intended to provide local interested parties an opportunity to view the design proposals and provide feedback.
The proposals include:
• A standalone new purpose built 2 storey teaching block, in the southwest corner of the school site
• 3no. Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) classrooms and 4no. general classrooms
• Canopies and secure play area outside EYFS classrooms
• Purpose-built external all weather pitch
• New and enhanced soft landscaping
• New and secure staff car park
In addition to the live event, information of the development proposals will be available on the School’s webpage. There will also be a link to an online questionnaire where you can provide feedback on the scheme and leave any questions you may have.
